Triple the Reward for James Salter at the U17 Norfolk Championships

In his final year of representing Norfolk juniors, James Salter showed his class by winning all 3 disciplines at the U17 championships held at Dereham Leisure Centre on 8th November. His biggest challenge came in the form of Joe Rolfe, with the two providing a superbly contested boy singles final with James coming out on top 22-20! Rolfe overcame Morgan Taylor in the only semi final.

In the boys doubles Salter & Rolfe partnered up to show their dominance in defeating Nima Moghaddas and Aidan Parfitt in the final, likewise in the mixed doubles Salter and Atlanta Harrison showed their experience defeating Rolfe and Lucy Jarvis in the final.

In the girls singles Amy Hayhoe came out on top against Jarvis who defeated Harrison in the semi.

The girls doubles was hotly contested with a number of pairings vying for the title. The young pairing of Caitlyn Parfitt and Jessica Bateman defeated Harrison and Jarvis 21-20 in the final, with Rachel Copley and Abi Davis coming in touching distance of a medal by losing 21-20 to Parfitt and Bateman.
